Seymour Music Lessons is a community bulletin board — a place where independent music teachers can list themselves, and where students and parents can find them. Each listing is written by the teacher. Before a teacher appears here we do a basic review of who they are, but a listing is not a certification, endorsement, or guarantee of any kind.
FOR PARENTS & STUDENTS UNDER 18
If the student is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must be the one to reach out to the teacher and to arrange everything about the lessons — times, locations, and payment. Teachers correspond with the parent or guardian, not directly with a minor. Our request forms require parent/guardian contact information for any student under 18.
TEACHERS ARE INDEPENDENT
- Every teacher listed here is independent — not an employee, contractor, or agent of this site.
- All lesson arrangements — scheduling, location, payment, cancellation — are directly between you and the teacher. This site is not a party to those arrangements and handles no payments.
- We make no guarantees about lesson quality, teacher availability, pricing, or outcomes, and we accept no responsibility for the lessons themselves. Please use your own judgment — ask questions, ask for references, and consider public settings for first meetings.
CONCERNS & REMOVAL
We take this community seriously. If you have a concern about a teacher listed here, tell us using the form below. We review every report, and teachers with verified complaints are removed from the directory. This form is not an emergency service — if anyone's immediate safety is at risk, contact local authorities first.
